Support the Fight Against Breast Cancer

Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization does not directly accept donations, but proudly partners with two highly respected breast cancer organizations through which you can direct your support. When making your donation, please mention Y-ME so your contribution reflects your commitment to the mission we share — ensuring that no one faces breast cancer alone. Every dollar given through our partner organizations helps fund the research, advocacy, and support services that people with breast cancer need today, not just tomorrow.

How to Give

  • Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation — Make your donation at drsusanloveresearch.org and mention Y-ME. This foundation focuses almost exclusively on research into the root causes of breast cancer, with the goal of eradicating the disease at its origin. Over 80% of funds go directly to programs and long-term studies examining both the physical and emotional impact of breast cancer treatments.
  • National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC) — Make your donation at stopbreastcancer.org and mention Y-ME. Founded in 1991, the NBCC is one of the most influential breast cancer advocacy organizations in the United States, with over 60,000 members. It has successfully advocated for more than $3 billion in federal research funding and brings together survivors, researchers, lobbyists, and policymakers to drive systemic change.

Other Ways to Make a Difference

  • 🔹 Matching Gifts — Your employer may match your charitable donation, potentially doubling or tripling your impact. Check with your human resources department to find out if your company has a matching gift program.
  • 🔹 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) — Federal employees can support the breast cancer cause through payroll giving. Designate your contribution using CFC Code 2808.
  • 🔹 Donate in Someone’s Honor or Memory — A gift made in honor of a loved one, or in memory of someone lost to breast cancer, is a meaningful way to celebrate their life and advance the cause they cared about.
  • 🔹 Vehicle Donation — Turn an unused car, truck, or other vehicle into a tax-deductible cash contribution benefiting breast cancer organizations.
  • 🔹 Workplace and Community Fundraising — Organize a workplace fundraiser, community event, or online campaign and direct proceeds to either of our partner organizations. Every effort — large or small — helps sustain critical support services.

Why Your Support Matters

Y-ME has spent decades ensuring that people facing breast cancer have access to immediate, free, 24-hour support — regardless of their income, insurance status, or background. The services we champion cannot wait for future breakthroughs. The person diagnosed today needs help right now.

When you give through the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation or the National Breast Cancer Coalition, and mention Y-ME, you are investing in a continuum of care that spans groundbreaking research, powerful policy advocacy, and compassionate human support.

Together, we make sure no one faces breast cancer alone.
