cancer in the U.S. this year alone, the mission and work of
Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization could not be more essential.
Y-ME's mission is to ensure, through information, empowerment
and peer support that no one faces breast cancer alone. Meeting
our mission is an extraordinary challenge and remains at the
heart of all our efforts.
Effective and Unique
For nearly 30 years, we have worked closely with communities,
volunteer organizations, businesses, health agencies and people
like you to fulfill our mission. At the heart of Y-ME is the
nation's only 24/7 breast cancer hotline staffed entirely by
breast cancer survivors who are trained peer counselors. We're
here for those who can't wait for tomorrow's cure. Instead of
performing research, Y-ME provides free-of-charge programs
and services for anyone touched by breast cancer.
